Sex Offender Registry
The Butts County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigative Division is responsible for the registration and tracking of sex offenders that reside within Butts County.
This includes the sex offenders who are serving in the Georgia Diagnostic and Correctional Prison. The registry is designed to make citizens aware of the sex offenders who may be living nearby.
By clicking on the link in the upper right corner of this page, it will take you to the list of registered sex offenders registered here in Butts County. This page is maintained by the Butts County Sheriff’s Office. There is also a link available for you to view the registered sex offenders on the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) sex offender registry.

Inv. is a member of the internet crimes against children task force.
The knowledge he has gained in training enables him to conduct covert operations to protect the youth in our community.
In a proactive attempt to prevent future crimes against children in our community he taught a block of instruction to Jackson High School students. This block of instruction taught students the offenses of crimes that are prevalent to their age group and ways to prevent and report them.
